Fun In The Sun

There is nothing like being in or on the water on a hot summer day. Saturday Scott, Ethan, and I took our jet skies out for a spin, for the first time this summer. Uncle Tim, Aunt Barb, Will, Mom, Liz, and Nate met us with Uncle Tim's boat at East Fork lake. It was so much fun!

Ethan enjoying his lunch, and a snooze in the shade.

Grandpa and Ethan enjoying each others company.

We Jarasats love the water. I think part of it is growing up in a country where water is scarce. One year when we were little, we were here in the states for the summer. Mom was with Hannah at the mall. As they were walking Hannah spotted a water fountain. Mom said Hannah took off running towards it screaming " AKABAH AKABAH" which means " THE RED SEA THE READ SEA".

This was Nate's first time to ride the jet skies by himself. This kid is good, even though he fell off 4 times! A bruise from hitting the handle bars on the waverunner.

Air show and our trip to PA !

Scott's love for flying draws us every year to the Dayton air show. This year we didn't know if we should take Ethan and sit in 90 degree weather. So we decided that Scott and my brother Nate would go up early in the morning, and Liz and I would take Ethan to mom's house, and then we would go up in the afternoon. Let me tell you, leaving Ethan was the hardest thing I had done in a long time. Before I had Ethan, I heard other moms say " I cried the first time I left my kids for a few hours." I would think what in the world is the big deal, its not like your leaving them forever!! I guess I ate those words. I ended up crying and I called mom every hour.

OUR TRIP TO PENNSYLVANIA!

Ethan had so much fun visiting his Mommal and Popal.

Riding the tractor with Popal.

Eating a popsicle with Mommal.

Playing with cousins Rachael and Julissa.
Ethan's puppy guarding Ethan while he slept on the way home.

A birthday to remember!!

Saturday was Mom's and Nate's birthday party. It was a birthday to remember. We had an uninvited six foot snake show up, which Nate enjoyed chopping up with his machete. Then the cake holder, I won't mention any names, but my youngest sister had butterfingers and lost the cake on grandma's head!! What fun!!!

Uncle Tim and Grandpa didn't mind the upside down cake!!

My cousin Wayne and his son Josiah.

Catch up pictures.
